Ghost Mover Concept v3

One continuous line: rotating shaft arm → house guide → counterweight → house pulley → ghost attachment → tree anchor.

HOUSE house pulley house guide TREE fixed anchor 30 ft MOTOR shaft / rotating arm counterweight GHOST travel working line

ft
Cycle time 10.0 s
Peak-to-peak line take-up 24.0 in
Calculated ghost vertical travel 5.6 ft
Current ghost drop 0.0 ft

Calculation model: the ghost attachment is assumed to be at the midpoint of the house-to-tree span. The rotating arm adds and removes line according to ΔL = r(1 − cos θ), giving a maximum line change of 2r. Ghost sag is then solved from two equal straight line segments: y = ½√[(D + ΔL)² − D²]. This is a geometry model and does not yet include rope stretch, pulley friction, ghost/counterweight mass, wind, or dynamic effects.
